Silverstone Parade Brings 60 F40s to the Track

There were several on-track parades during the Silverstone Classic last weekend, but perhaps the most impressive was a group of 60 Ferrari F40sFerrari F40Italy, 1987 > 199218 photos
going around the track.

built 1,315 F40s from 1987 to 1992 meaning that the 60 cars on track represent about 5% of the entire production run. The F40 was powered by a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 471hp. The body and chassis were made from a combination of kevlar, carbon fiber and aluminum, and they weighed around 1,100kg. They could accelerate to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
