Maserati is celebrating the 150 years of Italian unification with a special edition of its GranTurismo model. The Limited Edition was exhibited at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show and is a 12 car production destined to the Italian market. The Granturismo S Limited Edition is characterised by unique trim levels and contents.
Showing its elegant lines and sporting aggression, the model’s exterior features the exclusive matt Sebring Blue color. Besides that, carbon elements, in particular the front spoilers, side mirrors, door handles and rear spoiler in order to emphasize the characteristics of the car.
Brake calipers of the GranTurismo Limited Edition are made of hand-polished aluminium and are placed in beneath the 20-inch rims. Painted in matt black, the side skirts and the headlights give the car a more aggressive look.
Inside the Limited Edition offers a mix of sport and elegance with elements present on the MC Stradale version. The instruments and controls on the dashboard and central tunnel are finished in carbon.
The GranTurismo Limited Edition also includes a commemorative Centocinquantenario (“150th Anniversary”) of Italian Unification plate which is located at the base of the central console.
