The Fiat Viaggio is an Italian Dart
Fiat must have some faith in the new Dodge Dart because it will be selling the car in Europe as the Fiat Viaggio with a different front end. It is kind of funny because the Dart started as an Alfa Romeo Guilietta with a widened chassis. Fiat will show the car at the Beijing Auto Show on April 23. Fiat also plans to sell the car in China.
Like the Dart, the Viaggio is a four-door, five-passenger C-segment sedan that will be powered by a 1.4l, turbocharged four-cylinder with 120hp and 150hp tunes. It will be available with either a five-speed manual or a dual clutch transmission.
The Viaggio will be built in Fiat's new factory in Changsha, Hunan Province for the Chinese market and go on sale there in the third quarter of the year.
