Toyota teases FT-86 II ahead of Geneva

Toyota has released an image teasing the FT-86 II concept that the Japanese brand will be premiering at the 2011 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, taking place in March.

The FT-86 II concept is the evolution of a previous Toyota concept car presented in 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show: the FT-86. The new car being presented in Geneva will give a clear indication of the final look of Toyota’s next Sports car.

Toyota says the new concept “embodies the company’s reborn passion for sports car driving”, in it’s more than 50 years of sports car history.

Besides the unveiling the automotive world is also expecting for Geneva the announcement of when will the new model enter production, with current speculation going from late 2011 up to 2013.
