achieved a one-two victory with Mark Webber taking second place. Despite a good start Fernando Alonso was never able to follow the Red Bulls pace and only made it to the last place on the podium, enough to lose the championship lead to Vettel.
Despite starting from pole position Mark Webber lost he lead to his teammate at the start, who withstood pressure from Australian until Turn 3, but thereafter was free to flee from all competition. The German increased his advantage to 10 seconds and from there he just took care of the tires to get to the end of the race in the lead.

After overtaking Hamilton, Felipe Massa began closing up to his teammate but received a message from his team asking him to hold the position, finishing in a perhaps disappointing fourth place. Raikkonen was fifth.
Hulkenberg pulled off one of the highlights of the race overtaking in one move Lewis Hamilton and Romain Grosjean. The German finished the race in a fantastic sixth place.
