Group needs to find a solution to a very good problem to have. Sales have been so good for the German sales giant that it has to create a new sales forecast for 2022 because it is hitting its 2018 forecast early.
The management board is examining analyses now to decide on where its milestones should be for 2022.
The company is currently working on a plan from 2007 when the goal was to sell 10 million cars a year by 2018. It sold 9.1 million cars in 2012 and believe that the 10 million goal could come in 2015.
