Volvo Presents an Unboxing of the V60 Plug-in Hybrid

Volvo begins taking orders for the V60 plug-in hybrid in Europe in April. To celebrate the event of Volvo launching its first diesel hybrid, it has created a series of unboxing videos for the car. The videos parody the unboxing videos that are released whenever a new gadget is released. 

The first video shows the Volvo V60 coming in a large box, and each videos shows Volvo engineers going through each component of the car while giving information about it. The videos are well produced and informative about the new model. They were directed by Saul Metzstein who has directed several episodes of Dr. Who. 

The V60 plug-in hybrid has a 50km range of pure electric driving. It produces 49g/km of CO2 and uses 1.9l/100km of diesel. Total range with the entire powertrain is 1000km. It has 280hp and can accelerate to 100km/h in 6.2 seconds.
