There is a European Le Mans Race, if that is your thing

The European Le Mans Series has its third dedicated race this weekend

It is a very slow weekend for international racing this weekend. There is no Formula 1, no WEC, and not even any NASCAR. There is, however, a European Le Mans Series Race at the Red Bull Ring.

In other series there is an American Le Mans Series race at Mosport in Canada on Sunday, July 21 and a MotoGP race on the same day at Laguna Seca.

European Le Mans Series

The ELMS heads to the Red Bull Ring in Austria for a three-hour race around the 4.326km (2.688 miles), 10-corner course. The race begins at 4:36pm (2:36pm GMT) on Saturday, July 20, and runs to 7:36pm (5:36pm GMT).

There are 27 entries with nine cars in the LMP2 class, four in LMP Challenge, nine in GTE and five in GT Challenge. Qualifying begins on Saturday morning at 10:20am (8:20am GMT).
