The Six Hours of Spa will be the big race of the weekend

Unless the only racing that you care about is Formula 1, there will be racing for you to watch this weekend. If you like touring cars there are races from the DTM, V8 Supercars and WTCC. The biggest race of the weekend is the Six Hours of Spa for the World Endurance Championship. There is also a MotoGP race from Jerez.

DTM

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters has its first race of the year this weekend at the Hockenheimring.

There are some rules changes this year. The cars are equipped with a drag reduction system similar to what used in Formula 1. It allows for a 5km/h to 10km/h increase in speed. There is a new Hankook option tire, but teams are only able to use them for a limited number of laps. Also there is only one 90-minute practice session before qualifying and the race.
