Audi added a hybrid version to its range developed specifically for Asian markets. The Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro was unveiled at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show.
The petrol-electric system debuted first on the Q7 model range, but was set to be introduced in other models such as the A4.
The Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro combines the widely-used turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct-injection petrol engine, with 252hp and 370Nm of torque, with a 94kW and 350Nm electric motor mounted within the housing of the SUV's standard eight-speed automatic gearbox. Together the two engines provide a combined output of 367hp and 700Nm of torque.
