The second generation of the Dacia Sandero was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. This new generation is supposed to introduce new design cues and enhance the brand image. Such new design elements include revised front-end lines, highlighting the Dacia logo. In profile, the proportions of the body panels and glazed surfaces are intended to communicate robustness, supported by more prominent wheel arches and indented flanks.
The Sandero is available with a TCe 90 engine, 1.2 16v 75 engine, dCi 75 diesel or dCi 90 diesel. The TCe 90 is the new engine among the group. It produces 90hp, uses 5.2l/100km and emits 120g/km of CO2. The 1.2-liter petrol with 75hp is carried over and uses 5.9l/100km and emits137g/km of CO2. Dacia is also offering a version fueled by LPG that emits 125g/km of CO2.
