Introduced in 1984 the Dodge Caravan is a family minivan manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC and sold under the Dodge badge. The Caravan was launched simultaneously with a Plymouth badged version.

In 1987 Dodge introduced a long-wheelbase version of the model, named Grand Caravan, sold alongside the short-wheelbase version. After the 2007 model year the short-wheelbase variant was discontinued and since the 2008 model year the model has been sold as Grand Caravan.

The Dodge Caravan is currently in its fifth generation.
