The 458 Speciale AFerrari 458 Speciale AItaly, 2014 > present (A for Aperta) is a limited edition launched as a celebration and tribute to the tremendous success that the 458 Italia model achieved on the market, the several awards it won and the victories it conquered on the Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring tracks.

According to Ferrari this special edition is the most powerful spider in the manufacturer's history, combining extreme performance with open-top driving experience. The retractable hard top takes 14 seconds to deploy or retract. Made of aluminum it helped reduced the weight of the car by 50kg when compared to the Speciale coupe.

At the heart of the 458 Speciale A is the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine ever built by Ferrari.
