about this car
20 years after dropping out from prototype racing, Ferrari made their comeback with the 333 SP. However, the car designed together with Dallara, was made for IMSA customer teams and would not be raced by a Ferrari works team.
It became a successful challenger with the customer teams and in 1995 took the first Ferrari victory in 23 years at the 24 Hours of Sebring. In the same year, this car won the IMSA driver and constructer championship. Another remarkable victory for this car was in 1998 at the 24 Hours of Daytona. 2002 marked the end of its racing carreer.
One of the most striking features of the car is its high-pitched engine sound.
