Review

Ferrari presented the SA APERTA model at the Paris International Motor Show 2010. The SA APERTA is a special series model that has an 80 unit limited production. This number was chosen as a way to celebrate Pininfarina's 80th anniversary. The SA nomenclature also pays tribute to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina.

Based on the 599 model the SA APERTA is a roadster which builds on Ferrari’s front-engined V12 architecture and offers an open-top driving experience. It comes with a light soft top designed to be used only when weather gets bad. The roadster has an aerodynamic sleekness, a low-slung windscreen and it crouches lower to the ground than other Ferrari’s. The 670 hp engine transmits the sporty spirit of the 599 to the roadster, which translates also into a sporty interior look.
