In early 2011 Ferrari released the first images of the new Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four). A four-seater, four-wheel drive V12 model which made its debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
The Ferrari FF is the Italian brand's first four-wheel drive model, a fact reflected in the car’s name 'Ferrari Four' (four sears, four-wheel drive). The brand claims it is a revolution for the GT sports car concept, suitable for city driving, on low grip or snow-covered surfaces as well as on the track. The four-wheel drive system 4RM has been developed and patented by Ferrari. The company claims it weights half as much as conventional 4x4 systems and allows for a perfect weight distribution. It is integrated with the car’s electronic dynamic control systems, and delivers performance on all terrains and in all conditions via continuous and predictive torque distribution to all four wheels.
