The Ritmo Targa Oro was introduced at the 1979 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car was a special edition with modified body and available as black 3-door or metallic brown 5-door sedan. It also included special wheel rims, higher interior trim and more standard features.

It was sold as 65 hp variant in Italy and with a 75 hp configuration abroad.
