Alfa Romeo Giulia (Italy, 1972-1976)

In 1972 Alfa Romeo launched the second series of the Giulia model, which consisted mostly on a rationalisation of the model’s range. For this series of the Giulia, a new diesel engine was added to the car’s available options. This signed Alfa Romeo’s first shot at using diesel-powered engines.   From 1978, no more Alfa Romeo Giulias were produced, as the company ceased this model’s production run that year.
