Honda UK has launched a new version of the Civic TI that adds about £1,000 of extra equipment despite the car costing £1,000 less than the standard 1.8 SE model that the TI is based on. The TI is limited to just 1,000 units in the UK.

The changes to the TI include body color wheel arches, 17in wheels from Team Dynamics, leather wrapped steering wheel, climate control, Aux and USB stereo input, steering wheel mounted audio controls, electric rear windows and Bluetooth. The TI is available in Milano Red, White Orchid Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic.

The 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine produces 142hp and 174lb-ft of torque. It produced 137g/km of CO2.

Honda UK was inspired to build the model after it released the first TI edition with 500 units, and it sold out quickly.
