about:
The Honda Civic came out in July 1972 and from then on it has been fulfilling a series of compact and subcompact cars, besides representing Honda’s mainstream model line-up. At launch the Civic was a coupe car, but hatchback, sedan and station wagon Civic versions would later join the available body options as well.
Eight generations of the Civic have been released so far and, after the several changes and improvements it has been through, the car that started as a cheap, small economic car has significantly stepped up to become larger and more upmarket. The Honda Civic is known for being a relatively small, compact car and, yet, offering quite a good cabin room. The most recent Civic incarnations have started to build reputation for high-performance, including sportier variants within the range.
