The JX is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 with a CVT transmission in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The engine produces 265hp and 248 lb-ft of torque with an expected fuel economy of 23mpg highway and 17mpg city. It also has all of the modern technical conveniences like traction control, stability control, ABS etc. It also comes with unique features like backup collision intervention that detects when the vehicle is in reverse if there will be anything that will cross the truck's path and stop it automatically if necessary.

The interior is packed with nearly as much tech as the rest of the car. The interior has standard leather with a power driver seat. The second row can slide forward and back, as well as lie down, depending on the driver's need and the truck's load. There is a 7in LCD to display the backup camera and navigation. The truck has other features like lane departure warning, blind spot intervention, automatic cruise control and intelligent braking
