Dodge Journey (United States of America, 2008-present)

Launched at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Dodge Journey is a mid-size crossover SUV built by the Dodge division of Chrysler.

Internally knowned as the JC49, the Journey has an almost identical wheelbase (2891 mm) as the discontinued Chrysler Pacifica. Sharing its platform with the Dodge Avenger, the Journey features 5 or 5+2 passenger seating with four forward-hinged doors.

After model year 2011, Chrysler will stop selling the Journey in Europe as it will be substituted by the rebadged Fiat Freemont unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2011.
