The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is a lightweight version of the Gallardo LP 560-4 powered by a V10 ‘Iniezione Diretta Stratificata’ engine. With an output of 570 hp the Super Trofeo is the only one-make, all-wheel-drive motorsport series.

After a successful 2009 season, the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo returned to the tracks in Hockenheim in 2010.

For their second season the Super Trofeo race cars, lightweight versions of the Gallardo LP 560-4, saw new teams behind the wheel of the Lamborghini racers. Reiter Engineering continued to drive the Super Trofeo after securing second place in the 2009 Teams’ Championship. In Hockenheim the new Swiss outfit Black Bull Racing made their debut with the Super Trofeo. The 2009 Pro-Am Drivers’ Champion Claudio Rossetto was also competing in the Lamborghini.
