Land Rover launches at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 a hand-finished exclusive edition of the Range Rover called Autobiography Ultimate Edition. For this edition, Land Rover’s flagship model has been upgraded with handcrafted luxury on the interior.
The special edition's features include two new stand alone electric rear seats, which offer more space and comfort to the rear passengers. A rear console extension features a machined aluminium laptop table and drinks chiller, and two Apple iPads* as standard. Other luxury features include the high-end semi-aniline leather seating and Oxford leather on the door casings, dashboard top and steering wheel. Kalahari wood veneers are being used on the fascia and door top rolls and interior colourways of either dark cherry or Arabica are available.
The Ultimate Edition is available in two new unique exterior colours, either Roussillon Red or Otago Stone, as well as body colour door handles, dark atlas radiator grille and side vents are also available.
Fitted with 20” multi-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels, the Ultimate Edition has a special tailgate badge.
The Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition is powered by Land Rover’s V8 engine lineup that includes the 4.4 litre LR-TDV8 Diesel and the LR-V8 5.0 Supercharged engine.
The 4.4 litre LR-TDV8 Diesel engine is combined with an eight-speed transmission featuring Drive Select with Paddle Shift as standard. This engine produces a maximum power of 313 PS and 700 Nm of torque, and delivers more fuel efficiency and 14% less CO2 emissions than its predecessor. Thanks to the 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox the Ultimate Edition is able to reach the mark of 60 mph in 7.5 seconds and accelerate from 50 to 75 mph in 5.1 seconds.
Designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, only 500 units are produced and sold in over 20 markets globally.
