The Esprit concept car showing in Paris in 2010 is powered by a 5.0 litre V8 pressure charged engine with a power output of 620 PS. The performance look of the Esprit is expressed by the strong lines that form the vehicle’s sleek low body and represents Lotus’ new design approach. With the new Esprit Lotus is taking on the challenge of reinventing an iconic model.
At the Paris Motor Show 2010 Lotus unveiled five new models, the Eterne, the Esprit, the Elise, Elite and the Elan, that were to reach the market over a time span of five years. Lotus has scheduled the market launch of the Esprit for 2013.
