Debuted in 2009, this Mercury Mariner Hybrid FWD belongs to the 2nd generation of the Mariner model. Powered by a 2488cc engine, the model variant has a power output of 153 hp. When compared to other versions in this generation, this Mariner Hybrid FWD is fitted with the smallest engine. This front wheel drive version features a continuously variable transmission gearbox. In terms of efficiency, the vehicle's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 7.35 l/100km. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 5 persons. The version of the Mariner comes with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear . It has been fitted with an independent suspension.
