The MG3 was unveiled at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show and it is aimed at young buyers in Europe looking for a fun, inexpensive car. It was designed and engineered by MG’s Birmingham engineering team in the UK. The design is inspired by the Zero Concept from 2010.

The MG3 has clean, chunky styling with minimalist styling. The front is simple with large headlights, a narrow, V-shaped grill and black trim. The rear has vertical taillights, an integrated rear spoiler and simulated rear diffuser. It has wraparound LED running lights along the front splitter.

The brand offers buyers the possibility of choosing graphics for the roof, sides and bonnetsand also trim and wheel personalization options.

Power comes from a 104hp four-cylinder petrol engine with a five-speed manual.
