MINI presented the updated Paceman at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
The three-door SUV received some exterior design updates, which includes a slightly modified grille, new 19 inches alloy wheels, new color schemes and optional LED daylight and fog lighting.
The interior of the Paceman was also revised with MINI focusing on improving its quality. The design team included new coloured anthracite instruments and chrome finishes inside the vents and other minor changes.
Other improvements include soundproofing. The Paceman gets more sound deadening material that, according to MINI serves to improve the model's "acoustic comfort".
It also gets an upgraded four-cylinder gasoline direct injection engine in order to meet EU6 emission standards. The Cooper version keeps the same 120hp, while the Cooper S version gets a power increase of 6hp to 187hp.
