The Dodge the Dart (modern) was first presented at the North American Motor Show on January 9th 2012.
The new model from the American performance brand combines Dodge’s Passion for Performance and Style into a complete new sedan. Marking Dodge’s return to the US compact sedan segment, the Dart is inspired by the award-winning Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Dodge introduced with the Dart several innovative technologies, safety features and clever functionality in order to set new standards in the compact car segment in terms of personalization, roominess, style, functionality and fun-to-drive dynamics.
It is marketed as a 2013 model and the Dart will be available with a range of three fuel-efficient, powerful, state-of-the-art four-cylinder engines: a new 160 horsepower Tigershark 16-valve 2.0-liter engine, a 160 horsepower 16-valve 1.4-liter MultiAir® Intercooled Turbo engine and a new 184 horsepower Tigershark 16-valve 2.4-liter MultiAir 2 four-cylinder engine. The engines can be combined with either a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic or a six-speed dual dry clutch (DDCT) transmission.
The 2013 Dodge Dart will be available in five trim levels: SE, SXT, Rallye, Limited and R/T.
