for the Belvidere, Illinois, Police Department. The car was built by Chrysler's Belvidere Assembly Plant where the Dart is made. The car's first official duty was to lead a procession of donations of food to the Belvidere/Boone County Food Pantry.

The car features overhead lights and the graphics from the Belvidere Police Department. Because the car does not have all of the other elements needed for a police car, it will only be used for non-patrol tasks and ceremonial purposes. The police department will also report back to Chrysler about how the car works for them. 

“The Belvidere Police Department wanted to drive what’s built in their town by their own citizens. This was a terrific opportunity to support the Belvidere police and continue to foster our longtime partnership with this city and region," said Peter Grady, fleet director at Chrysler.
