Dart Getting Top Spec GT Trim at NAIAS

is getting a new top spec GT model at the North American International Auto Show that comes with the 2.4-liter engine with 184hp and 174lb-ft of torque, a stiffer suspension and better trim. At a base price of $20,995, the Dart GT will be the first Dart model to start at over $20,000. 

The Dart GT gets a sport suspension, LED rear lights, dual exhaust tops, fog lights, heated exterior mirrors, 18in wheels, black grill, heated Nappa leather seats, 8.4in touchscreen infotainment display and 7in TFT auxiliary instrument display. It comes with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.

The seats are available in black or ruby red stitching or two-tone Black and Ruby Red. The interior also gets dual-zone climate control and a heated steering wheel. The center-mounted 8.4in Uconnect touchscreen includes a rear backup camera. 

In addition to the expanded standard equipment, there is also a wide variety of options for the car including rain sensing wipers and blind spot monitoring in the Technology Package, a power sunroof, HID headlights, satellite navigation, 10-speaker stereo and engine block heater. 

The car will be available in the spring in Redline Red, Header Orange, Blue Streak, Citrus Peel, Laguna Blue, Pitch Black, Tungsten, Bright Silver, Bright White, True Blue, Maximum Steel and Winter Chill.
