The Mokka was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and is part of Opel's effort to enter the growing sub-compact SUV market in Europe.
It has protective side cladding on the sides and corners in case drivers every take it off road. Inside there are 19 storage locations and 1,372l of total cargo space. The Mokka is available with optional bi-xenon lights with LED running lights and high beam assist. They also bend around corners.
The Mokka is offered with three engines that are all available with either front- or all-wheel drive. There are two petrol engines. The normally aspirated1.6l engine offers 115hp, while the 1.4l turbo version has 140hp. The diesel engine offers 130hp and 300Nm of torque, and it is the only engine available with an optional six-speed automatic transmission at launch.
