Six different teams will be racing this year's Le Mans 24 Hours with an Oreca 03 - Nissan

, including the now-mandatory shark fin, louver openings above each wheel and revised mechanical components that saw some reliability woes last year. One of the biggest visible changes, as revealed in the provided renderings, has been the louver cut-outs. Six teams will be running the Oreca 03 powered by Nissan's NISMO VK45DE 90º V8 engine.
Signatech Nissan will run in cars #23 and #26 counting with drivers Jordan Tresson, Franck Maillieux and Olivier Lombard, and Pierre Ragues Nelson Panciatici and Roman Rusinov respectively. John Martin Robbie Kerr and Tor Graves will be driving for ADR-DELTA in car #25. Driving the #45 Oreca 03 for Boutsen Ginion Racing will be Bastien Briere, Jens Petersen and Shinji Nakano, while Thiriet by TDS Racing will be counting with the help of Pierre Thiriet, Mathias beche and Christophe Tinseau in car #46. Car #48 belongs to team Pecom Racing that will have Luis Perez-Companc, Pierre Kaffer and Soheil Ayari driving the Oreca 03.

LMP2 is manufactured by Onroak Automotive, OAK Racing’s constructor department. It is based on the Pescarolo 01 chassis and was developed to try and emulate the achievement of the Morgan Super Sport that took class victory at the 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours. Car #24 will be powered by a 3.6 V8 HK Judd engine, combined with an X-Trac six-speed sequential transmission.
The #24 Oak Racing 2012 Morgan LMP2 will be driven by Jacques Nicolet, Matthieu Lahaye and Olivier Pla.

Team Gulf Racing Middle East will have two Lola B12/80 on track with the classic blue and orange colours of Gulf Oils

which will be adorned with the classic blue and orange colours of Gulf Oils. The two cars will be powered by Nissan's NISMO VK45DE 4.5 V8 engine.
Gulf Racing Middle East will have racing in car #28 Fabien Giroix, Maxime Jousse and Stefan Johansson, while car #29 will be driven by female Japanese driver Keiko Ihara, Jean-Denis Deletraz and Steve Quick.

Status Grand Prix will use its GP3 Series expertise in the 24 Hours of Le Mans

LMP2 that is powered by a 3.6 V8 Lotus engine and compliant with the new regulations for the FIA World Endurance Championship. The car is fitted with an Xtrac gearbox with pneumatic paddle shift system and Carbon brakes with AP Racing six-piston calipers. This prototype marks the return of yet another historic livery to Le Mans: the legendary black and gold.
The Lotus team will be running in car #31 with Thomas Holzer, Mirco Schultis and Luca Moro behind the wheel of the Lola B12/80 Coupe.

is the updated version of the ARX-01d. It uses the same the HR28TT V6 which Honda released in 2011. The bodywork is modified slightly from the outgoing model to include mandatory openings at the top of the wheel wells and the 1020 mm center shark fin. The front and rear clips have also been modified to change the aerodynamics.
For 2012 the ARX-03b will be campaigned by Level 5 Motorsports, with drivers Scott Tucker, Christophe Bouchut and Luis Diaz running in car #33, and Starworks Motorsport that will enter the race with the #44 car driven by Vincente Potolicchio, Ryan Dalziel and Thomas Kimber-Smith.

LMP2 will be entering this year's race by the hand of three teams: Jota and Greaves Motorsports. In Jota's case it means the recovery of an old partnership that had its peak in the mid-2000s.
The Jota Zytek Z011SN LMP2 #38 will be driven by Sam Hancock, Simon Dolan and Haruki Kurosawa. Greaves Motorsport will have two cars competing. The #41 will be driven by Christian Zugel, Elton Julian and Ricardo Gonzalez, while Alex Brundle, Martin Brundle and Nissan GT Academy Champion Lucas Ordonez will be racing in car #42.

LMP2 prototype thanks to French team Extreme Limite Aric. The prototype has received several modifications to respect the aerodynamic regulations for this year's race. The HK 3.6 V8 has also been further developed by the developed by Judd during winter time.
Extreme Limite Aric will be competing in the Norma M200P #43 with Fabien Rosier, Philippe Thirion and Philippe Haezebrouck.
