Honda Tokyo Auto Salon Exhibit Brings the Fun

in the rest of the world, the brand knows how to have a lot of fun in its home market. For the Tokyo Auto Salon, Honda has a ton of fun cars on display including concept, racecars and modified cars. 

Honda's big push will be behind its new N-ONE city car that has styling based on vintage Hondas. It is bringing three versions of the car: the Modulo, Mugen and Mugen Premium. The car was introduced in November 2012 with a 700cc, three-cylinder engine with a CVT transmission and is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The modified cars at the show do not get any performance upgrades but have sportier styling. 

In a major surprise, Honda is showing a rebodied S2000Honda S2000 Gen.2Japan, 2004 > 20094 versions

called the S2000 Modulo Climax. Mechanically, it is idenitical to the S2000, but Honda created a new body for the car. 

There is also a wild looking CRZHonda CR-ZJapan, 2010 > present21 versions

Two Honda racecars from the Super GT series will be on display, as will the company's motorcycle from MotoGP.
