It was presented at the Moscow Auto Salon on August 25th and it has already sold out. The 500 units of the limited edition 911 GT2 RS have already been all reserved. Enhancing the success story of the 911 the GT2 RS is the most powerful and high-performance road-going sports car in the history of the Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart.
Following the Porsche Intelligent Performance philosophy the 911 GT2 RS is powered by a 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine boosted by two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry. It offers 620 HP, more 90 HP than the 911 GT2, and is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
Athough the GT2 RS had its power increased by 90 HP when compared to the 911 GT2, Porsche was still able to reduce it fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by about 5 percent. The 911 GT2 RS has a fuel consumption of 11,9 l/100 km in the combined cycle, which represents 284 g/km of CO2 emissions.
Seems like the 911 GT2 RS goes as fast on the showrooms as it drives on the road.
