A6 Allroad

Audi has announced an All-Road version of the A6 with four engine options, adaptive air suspension and 1,680l of total luggage space.

The A6 Allroad starts an an A6 Avant and boosts the car's height by 6cm. Because of the larger fenders, the A6 Allroad is a little bigger than a standard Avant too. It is 4.94m long and 1.9m wide. Compared to the last A6-based allroad, it also weighs 70kg less. The interior is basically the same as a regular A6 Avant with some trim changes and Santos Brown as an interior color option.

Like every Audi, there is a ton of options available on the A6 Allroad. There is an available HUD, ambient LED lighting, four-zone air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, and LED and HID lighting options. Drivers can also order the option that makes the interior of the car a WLAN hotspot to access the Internet.

The A6 Allroad has four available engines: one petrol and three diesels. The petrol engine is the 3.0 TFSI with 310hp and 325lb-ft of torque. It uses 8.9l/100km of fuel. The other three diesel engines are all versions of the 3.0 TDI with either 204hp, 245hp or a twin-turbo version with 313hp. The 245hp version is a new lower emissions version of the engine that Audi did not have fuel economy specs for yet. Depending on engine, there are three different transmissions available. The top of the line diesel gets an eight-speed Tiptronic, and the other engines get a seven-speed S-tronic gearbox.

The A6 Allroad comes standard with an adaptive air suspension and electromechanical steering.

The A6 Allroad goes on sale in Germany in spring 2012. The base, 204hp diesel version will start at €54,600.

It looks very nice on these pics. Looks even more racier than SUV actually.
