in the race for the first high-luxury and performance SUV. According to Eterniti the Artemis will enter production in the summer, with the first vehicles being delivered in autumn 2012, in the European and Asian-Pacific markets.
Under the hood, the Artemis has been fitted a 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine produces more than 600cv and 750Nm of torque. Thanks to it the prototype can accelerate up to 100km/up in 4.5s and reach a top speed of 290km/h. A team led by Alastair Macqueen was responsible for the performance and handling development on the Artemis.
The car has been test-driven by F1 Grand Prix winner Johnny Herbert, who will play an ongoing role in product development as well as being an ambassador for the brand.
Inside the rear cabin has been offered a limousine-like sensation, with extra 100mm of legroom, twin reclining rear seats with heating and cooling, iPad-ready holders with electronic reveal, and a drinks chiller. This makes the Artemis a vehicle suited for either being chauffeured in or drive for pleasure.
The interior has been exquisitely handcrafted, with a specification also including the finest leathers, quilted undercarpets and boot trim, lambswool rugs, veneers including natural woods, piano black and carbon fibre, a choice of sunroofs and starlight roof lining, and a state-of-the-art audio system.
