will receive a slight facelift. The modifications include minor changes in terms of design, a new range of engines and even some new technologies.
Design
There were few changes regarding design, justified for the 500 000 units sales numbers since its launch. The bumpers have been redesigned and the model now comes with a hexagonal grille, revised headlights graphism, more defined sills below the doors and a rear fascia with a new bumper and lights design.
These minor changes caused the increased length of the new A1 by 20mm to a total of 3980mm. The new range of Audi A1 and A1 Sportback also gets two new trim lines design and sport that will offer even more opportunities for customization.
Completely renewed range of engines
The engine range of the A1 was completely renovated and according to Audi will feature six engines, four TFSI gasoline direct injection engines and two TDI diesel engines. The German brand says that the engines are either completely new or have been heavily updated.
Two debuts in Audi's engine range are the 1.0 three cylinder direct injection petrol engine and the 1.4 turbo three-cylinder common rail diesel engine. Both of them were recently introduced in the Volkswagen PoloVolkswagen PoloGermany, 1975 > present6 series

range.
The 1.0 TFSI has an output of 95hp and fitted with it, the three-door version of the A1 has an average fuel consumption of 4,3l/100km and produces CO2 emissions of 99g/km. The new 90hp diesel engine, which will be the basis of the first ultra version of the A1, is even more efficient, with an average fuel consumption of 3,4l/100km and CO2 emissions of 89g/km.
The 1.4 direct injection petrol engine will be available with outputs of 123 and 148hp. The following two options are complemented by the 114hp 1.6 common rail diesel engine and the 189hp 1.8 petrol engine with direct injection.
Audi S1 and S1 Sportback
The S1 and S1 Sportback remain on top of the range equipped with the same 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder direct injection engine. The 231hp allow them to reach 100km/h in 5.8 and 5.9 seconds, respectively, and a maximum speed of 250km/h. Consumptions reach 7.2 and 7,3l/100km, with emissions of 166 and 168g/km respectively.
