Bentley is giving the Mulsanne some much needed updates in the guise of the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification that adds 21in wheels, diamond-patterned leather and selectable suspension and steering.
The Mulsanne continues to use Bentley's iconic 6.75 liter V8 with two turbos to produce 505hp and 752ft-lbs of torque. It comes with Bentley's eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel mounted paddles and selectable sport mode. It will accelerate to 100km/h in 5.3 seconds with a 296km/h top speed.
Another one of the exclusive features on the Driving Specification is the 21in, two-piece alloy wheels with titanium fasteners. Buyers can also purchase optional painted versions of these wheels or the self-leveling center caps.
The other exterior feature that sets off the Driving Specification is the two B-shaped vents in fenders that are meant to look like Bentley's flying B hood ornament.
Inside, the Driving Specification has diamond-patterned leather on the seats and doors with a leather headliner.
Bentley is also adding two options to the Mulsanne. A glass sunroof and bottle cooler with hand-blown champagne flutes are new options for the Mulsanne. The Driving Specification is available with a variety of other options including ventilated seats, over 100 paint colors, 22 leather colors and several wood veneers.
Bentley did not detail a base price for the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification, but it will be available in Europe later in the year.
