has become the definitive Caterham models. While it has experimented with other cars, but the Seven is the car that has defined the company. To celebrate the 40-year anniversary, Caterham Cars is offering a free, limited-edition package on all variants of the Seven, but it is limited to only the first 40 cars ordered starting today worldwide.
The package includes a chassis painted gray with ruby red paint and hood stripes, leather seats with great trim, a dashboard covered in gray leather, grey leather around the gear shift and handbrake, numbered dash plaque, 15in wheels with "40YOC" embossed on them and a key with a "40YOC" logo.
The upgrade is available on any Seven in the range, but buyers outside of the UK will not get the embossed wheels.
Caterham Cars took an already successful platform and further refined it over 40 years. It has created versions tailored specifically for racing or road use. Because nearly all of Caterham Cars' variants of the Seven are also available as a kit, the number of engine variants used has been massive with the standard being Ford Kent engines but ranging to motorcycle engines and even V8s.
