Citroen C4 Aircross Brings Compact SUV to Citroen Range

Citroen is expaning the C4 range even farther with a compact SUV, called the Aircross.

Citroen has not released too many details on the new car, but it has confirmed that the car will be available with either two-wheel or four-wheel drive.

The Aircross's exterior is handsome, if a little busy at times. It wears the corporate Citroen two-bar grill rising into the Citroen chevrons. The lower part of the front bumper is a little busy with vertical LED running lights and fog lights mounted even lower. It is a lot of lighting that is not necessarily incorporated in a unified way. The sides have a crease that rises from midway through the front fender up to above the rear fender. This line makes the car appear taller. The rear hatch has tail lights that wrap around to the side.

Citroen did not announce prices for the Aircross. It will be available in the first half of 2012, and Citroen promises that it will have among the lowest CO2 emissions in its class.
