Ferrari Fans Stand Vigil Outside of Schumacher's Hospital

clubs from Italy and French have descended on the Grenoble Hospital where Michael Schumacher is in a medically induced coma following his skiing injury on December 29. Over 200 fans from the clubs, Germany and Spain were waiting outside of the hospital for Schumacher’s 45th birthday on January 3.

The fans are holding a giant Ferrari flag that is visible from Schumacher’s hospital room.

Ferrari is also sending good wishes to its former racing star and has created a gallery of its 72 favorite Schumacher images on its Website. The number represents the number of Schumacher wins for Scuderia Ferrari.

Schumacher’s family has sent a message to fans from his Website: ”We are overwhelmed!

The incredible sympathies shown today by the Ferrari Fans outside the hospital has utterly overwhelmed us and moved us all to tears. We are deeply grateful for it and also for all the heartwarming and heartfelt wishes for Michael to get well soon, which have reached us from all over the world.”
