Ford Drops High Output 3.5-Liter EcoBoost into F-150 for Tremor

in the range. It is the first sport version of the F-150 to eschew a V8 in favor of Ford’s turbocharged EcoBoost V6.

“The new Tremor gives F-150 customers yet another option to drive a highly capable, distinctive performance truck with features typically found only in the aftermarket. Plus, the Built Ford Tough EcoBoost engine is available for the first time in a short-wheelbase F-150,” said Brian Bell, F-150 product marketing manager.

The Tremor’s 365hp and 420lb-ft of torque comes from the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and six-speed automatic. The Tremor also gets the FX Appearance Package, new 4.10 rear differential with electronic locking, HID headlights, 20in flat-black wheels and black badges. It will be sold in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

Inside, the Tremor will be the only F-150 beside the Raptor with bucket seats and full center console. The seats are covered in black leather with red accents, and the rest of the interior has brushed metal trim. It also gets MyFord Touch and SYNC infotainment standard.
