concept that will debut during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 13. It features resculpted body pieces made from carbon fiber and is meant to show the design for Infiniti’s future performance cars

The concept begins as a standard Q50 sedan, but Infiniti claims that only the doors remain unaltered. The changes make the car lower and wider to improve aerodynamics. It also has a new front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts roof and door mirrors all made from carbon fiber. It also has 21in forged aluminum wheels and a dual exit exhaust. The hood has been reshaped and features a cooling vent on the driver’s side.

"From our shared passion for performance with Infiniti Red Bull Racing grew a collective desire to produce a vision of what a high-performance Infiniti Q50 could look like," said Executive Design Director Alfonso Albaisa.
