New Kia Sorento unveiled

the new model features the main design cues of the current design. The model will however receive design elements introduced recently with the Kia GT Cross concept, at the 2013 Chicago Motor Show. The new Sorento retains the long hood and wide D-pillars as the previous generation.

The design of the new model was in charge of Kia's design studio in Namyang, South Korea, but received the collaboration of the Frankfurt and California studios.

"Although we kept the name thanks to the huge success of the current model, the new Sorento was completely redesigned and revamped and promises to surprise customers with its style thoroughly updated, a number of convenience and safety technologies, in addition to improvements in space, ride comfort and handling response," revealed Kia's vice president of overseas marketing, Soon-Nam Lee.

The premiere of the new Kia Sorento is scheduled for October at the Paris Motor Show, but until then new details should be unveiled about the third generation model.
