will unveil the new Corsa OPCOpel Corsa OPCGermany, 2015 > present, the most radical version of the utility model of the German brand. The vehicle was developed thinking of the maximum performance on track and in demanding roads without losing space in the passenger compartment.

versions, the OPC version is modified in terms of design indicating its' sportier character. Changes include a front end with larger air intakes in particular the openings below the headlights. On the back the highlight is the 'spoiler' at the top of the rear hatch, which can be chosen in two different options. As standard the new OPC features a discrete spoiler, but it may be equipped with a larger one that reinforces the aerodynamic load on the rear axle. The Corsa OPC also gets dual exhaust from Remus.
Inside the Corsa OPC receives 'bacquet' Recaro seats, a steering wheel with flat base, the handle of the gearbox lever, pedals and instrumentation in OPC design. Also the latest generation of infotainment IntelliLink system will be included in the standard equipment.
The road performance of the new Corsa OPC is responsibility of the 1.6 Turbo ECOTEC engine with 207hp and 280Nm of torque, with overboost. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a manual six-speed gearbox whose control stands out for being short and fast. This is a factor that contributes to the Corsa OPC being able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 230km/h. Despite all these numbers when it comes to 'performance', the 1.6 Turbo can be economical and provide an average consumption in the combined cycle of 7.5l/100 km, corresponding to CO2 emissions of 174g/km.
The vehicle also has a suspension with frequency selective damping technology, developed together with Koni. The ride height was reduced by 10mm. The new Corsa OPC has different driving modes. In the "competition mode" traction control is turned off and the ESP intervenes later.
The Corsa OPC can be ordered with a "performance pack" which includes a mechanical multi-disc differential lock.
