Nissan is building a production version of the Juke-R for a very limited run of build-to-order cars. Nissan says that the production Juke-R will be even faster than the one-off it made several months ago.

capable of 160mph. Nissan has received three firm orders for Juke-Rs with two orders coming from wealthy individuals from Dubai. Nissan says that it will build as many Juke-Rs as it receives orders for.
The original Juke-R used the turbocharged engine from the 2010 GT-R, the production cars will use the more powerful engine from the 2012 GT-R. The first three production cars will be delivered at the end of the summer.
"The Juke-R was originally intended as a one-off concept to marry two of Nissan's most innovative models. But the reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing - people were making offers for the original on the street! With such a strong reaction, and with three genuine offers on the table, we decided we had to make the car a reality. We can't let down enthusiasts who are this keen to add to their collection of cars. The Juke-R has become something of a phenomenon and I'm enormously proud of the impact it has had. There will be more news to come on Juke later in the year," said Juke Marketing Product Manager Gareth Dunsmore.
The ordering process for the Juke-R is incredibly simple. Nissan set up an e-mail account at [email protected]. Interested buyers can get in touch with Nissan there.
To further promote the Juke-R, Nissan has created a short film in Dubai starring GT Academy driver Lucas Ordonez. The film called Desert Nemesis directed by music video director Rob Kaplan shows the Juke-R racing against several super cars. It premieres on May 2 on Nissan's Facebook Page.
