. It replaces the previous 1.6 Turbo. It will cost buyers €23,850, which includes 19% German VAT

The engine propels the GTC to a top speed of 219km/h (131mph) and to 100km/h in 8.6 seconds. It uses 6.1l/100km and emits 143g/km of CO2. It is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Both have start/stop.

It has 15% better fuel economy than the previous 1.6 Turbo, and with overboost it has 22% more torque than the outgoing engine.
