Black R models that celebrate Polestar’s 2013 Swedish Touring Car Championship drivers’ and manufacturers’ championships. Unfortunately, they are only available in Sweden.

”An exciting and successful year for Polestar has almost come to an end and we are really happy to celebrate it with Black R together with Volvo Sweden,” said Hans Bååth, Managing Director of Polestar Performance.

The Black R package can be ordered on the cars with either the T6 or D5 engines, and Polestar’s power upgrades bring the T6 up to 329hp and the D5 up to 230hp. It also adds a lowered and stiffened suspension, new sport seats with R-design leather, Sensus Connect infotainment and exclusive wheels. It also gets power retractable door mirrors with black covers, an R-Design rear bumper with diffuser, R-Design tailpipes and R-Design matte black front grill.
