. Thanks to new optimization and tuning, Porsche has managed to increase the power by 15hp. This means that the Boxster GTS has a power of 330hp, while the Cayman GTS has 340hp. The Sport Chrono Package is fitted as standard on both vehicles meaning that with the optional PDK box and Sport Plus mode activated, the Boxster GTS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, while the Cayman GTS is a tenth of a second faster (4.6 seconds). With regard to maximum speed the Boxster (with manual six-speed gearbox) reaches a maximum speed of 281km/h. Cayman can reach 285km/h. The new GTS are the first two-seat mid-engine models from Porsche to be certified according to Euro 6 standards, achieving an average fuel consumption, with the PDK, of 8.2 l/100 km (9.0 l/100km with the manual gearbox).

With the combination of PASM and Sport Chrono Package as standard, the Boxster and Cayman GTS allow the driver to switch between sporty damping and, secondly, the rolling comfort when traveling long distances by just pressing a button. Both versions come standard with sports seats and leather interior. As in other versions of Porsche GTS the two vehicles receive some trim in Alcantara.

With these two new versions, Porsche extends the GTS concept to the Boxster and the Cayman. The combination of letters debuted with the 904 Carrera GTS904 Carrera GTSPorsche 904 Carrera GTSGermany, 1964 > present1 photo
